Lucero Reyes Martinez

Paralegal Lucero (Lucy) Reyes Martinez joined Comstock & Wagner in 2021, after obtaining her A.S. in Paralegal Studies from Allan Hancock College. As a paralegal, Lucy is in charge of managing day-to-day legal tasks alongside the attorneys. While completing her paralegal studies degree, Lucy interned at the District Attorney’s office, in the Victim Witness Program, where she was able to meet with victims, advocate for their rights, and help them find resources as they sought for restitution.

Born in Mexico City, Mexico, Lucy moved to the Central Coast with her father when she was young, following the passing of her mother. Lucy is currently enrolled in the San Luis Obispo College of Law, J.D. Program, working toward becoming an attorney herself. She decided to pursue law to help out her underrepresented Hispanic/Latino community in understanding California laws and their rights, with someone who they can feel comfortable and can communicate effectively with. Lucy is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.

When not working or studying for school, Lucy coaches youth basketball and volunteers for her younger brother’s travel basketball team. She enjoys traveling, thrifting, and walks on the beach.
