Marina Bourbon

Paralegal Marina Bourbon joined Comstock & Wagner in 2016 after several years working as a legal assistant at a law firm in San Luis Obispo County. Marina had been interested in legal work since she was in high school, and pursued a career in accounting for over a decade before returning to the field.

Marina assists attorney Stephen A. Wagner and the firm's other attorneys with the aspects of family law cases that do not require an attorney's training. This helps the firm operate more efficiently and keep client costs lower, as well as freeing up attorneys for matters only they are qualified to deal with. Marina derives great satisfaction from being a part of a team that helps clients successfully get through a challenging time in their lives.

Client contact is one of Marina's favorite parts of her work. Clients express gratitude for her responsiveness to their questions and personal attention to their needs, and colleagues appreciate her positive attitude and the care she demonstrates for the firm's clients. Marina believes it is important to give each client the respect they deserve and to let them know how that they are in good hands, especially in a situation when they may be feeling stressed and uncertain.

When not working at the firm, Marina is active in the community, including being a member of the Orcutt Lions Club for the past several years. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children; as avid sports fans, they enjoy going to Rams and Dodgers games whenever they have the chance.
